Michigan is a Stand Your Ground state, therefore it should be quite obvious that you have the right to defend yourself and your family against a threat on your safety, especially if that threat comes on your own property. However, this apparently will not be the case for young Siwatu-Salama Ra after an incident at her Detroit home.
